Description: Country retreat. Family home set in two and a half acres of gardens with fantastic southerly views above the glorious Iford Manor and its renowned Peto garden. A sprawling house with a relaxed, friendly atmosphere. Exellent pub grub, smart restaurants and a good selection of international eateries. Set amid a wealth of local attractions Bath, Longleat, Cheddar Gorge, Wells, Glastonbury, Bradford on Avon, Laycock, Avebury, Stonehenge to name but a few. MINIMUM 2 NIGHT STAY FRIDAYSATURDAY!
Directions: Follow the A36 south from Bath (signposted Warminster). Continue straight over traffic lights at the viaduct. Climb the hill passing the Rose and Crown Pub on left. Take next left, Church Lane, Freshford. Follow road past school, post office and The Inn. Climb Staples Hill to the top, road levels out. Shrubdown will be found approximately 400 yards on right. Press buzzer on electric gate.
